These RennovEN Certified Terms apply to property inspections, condition reports, quality certificates and the RennovEN Certified™ badge (together, “RennovEN Certified”) provided by RennovEN Technologies Private Limited (CIN U41001UP2026PTC253853), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, having its registered office at 178/2 Prabandh Nagar, Mubarakpur, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India – 226013 (“RennovEN”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
RennovEN Certified is a private quality mark of RennovEN. It is not a government, statutory or regulatory certification.
1. Who can request it
An owner, seller or landlord may request certification of their property. A prospective buyer or tenant may request an inspection report with the owner’s permission for access. Certificates are issued for the property inspected.
2. What we inspect
A checklist inspection of the visible and accessible parts of the property on the inspection date, which may include:
- Visible structural condition, including cracks, spalling and signs of settlement.
- Damp, seepage and leakage, including non-invasive moisture readings.
- Electrical installation, distribution board, earthing and safety devices.
- Plumbing, water pressure, drainage and fittings.
- Doors, windows, flooring, finishes, terraces, bathrooms and kitchen.
3. What RennovEN Certified does not cover
- Legal title, ownership, approvals, encumbrances, occupancy or completion certificates — consult a lawyer.
- Structural stability certification or design verification under building regulations.
- Hidden, concealed or inaccessible areas, or destructive and laboratory testing unless specifically agreed.
- Appliances, lifts, fire systems, gas lines, common areas and society infrastructure.
- Defects or changes arising after the inspection date.
- Valuation, price or investment advice.
4. Results
Each inspection results in a scored report and one of three outcomes:
- Certified — the property met the RennovEN checklist on the inspection date.
- Certified after repairs — certification follows once listed items are repaired and pass re-inspection.
- Not certified — the property did not meet the checklist; the report explains why.
5. Validity and renewal
Each certificate shows its inspection date and validity period. It reflects the property’s condition on that date only. Certificates can be renewed after a fresh inspection. A certificate becomes invalid early if the property undergoes significant alteration, damage or water ingress.
6. Use of the certificate and badge
- Owners of a certified property may display the RennovEN Certified badge and share the certificate in listings and with buyers or tenants during its validity.
- The badge must not be altered, used for another property or used after expiry or revocation.
- Anyone may verify a certificate with us using its certificate number.
- We may revoke a certificate if it was obtained using false information, if the property is materially altered, or if the badge is misused.
- Use of the badge does not make the owner our agent or partner, and RennovEN does not endorse any sale price or transaction.
7. Reliance
Reports and certificates are prepared for the person who requested them. Others, such as buyers who view a seller’s certificate, may use them as one input in their decision but should make their own enquiries. We recommend buyers also obtain legal due diligence.
8. Repairs
You may carry out repairs through RennovEN or anyone you choose. Repairs carried out by RennovEN are covered by our Warranty Policy. Certification itself is not a warranty of the property.
9. Fees
Fees depend on property type, area and scope, are stated in your quotation and are payable under our Payment Terms. Re-inspections after repairs may be charged separately.
10. Liability
Our total liability relating to an inspection, report or certificate is limited to the fee paid for it. We are not liable for defects that were not visible or accessible on the inspection date, that arose afterwards, or that fall outside the scope above, or for indirect or consequential losses including any loss on a property transaction. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
11. Disputes
Please contact our Grievance Officer first. These terms are governed by the laws of India and, subject to your rights as a consumer, disputes are subject to arbitration seated at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
