Waterproofing & Leakage
Rising damp treatment for ground-floor walls
Chemical damp-proof course injection and breathable re-plastering to stop moisture climbing up from the ground.
If the lower metre of your ground-floor walls is always damp, with paint peeling and white salt crystals forming, water is rising up from the ground through the bricks.
Older homes often have no damp-proof course (DPC), or it has failed. RennovEN injects a new chemical DPC into the wall and replaces salt-damaged plaster with a breathable, salt-resistant system.
Signs you need this
- Damp band along the bottom of walls
- White salt deposits (efflorescence)
- Paint and putty powdering near the floor
- Skirting tiles coming loose
The RennovEN promise
- 10-year warranty on all works
- Itemised pricing, approved before work begins
- One accountable team across every trade
- Residential specialists — homes only
Diagnosis
Why it happens
Missing or failed DPC
Without a barrier at plinth level, bricks wick groundwater upward.
Raised outside levels
Road and courtyard levels raised over the years bridge the original DPC.
Salt contamination
Salts carried by moisture crystallise and destroy plaster from within.
