These Service Terms apply to every inspection, construction, renovation, repair, installation, interior and décor service (“Works”) carried out by RennovEN Technologies Private Limited (CIN U41001UP2026PTC253853), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, having its registered office at [Registered office address], Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India (“RennovEN”, “we”, “us” or “our”) at your residential property.
They form part of the quotation, work order or agreement you accept (the “Agreement”). If the Agreement says something different, the Agreement prevails for that project.
1. Residential scope
We currently undertake Works at residential properties only — independent houses, villas, duplexes, builder floors and apartments. We may decline work that is commercial, unsafe, unlawful or outside our expertise.
2. Inspections
Inspections are free unless stated otherwise and create no obligation to proceed. Findings are based on a visual and non-destructive assessment of accessible areas on the day of inspection. Hidden defects may only become visible once work begins; we will inform you before any additional work is done.
3. Quotations and scope
- Each quotation is itemised and specific to your property. It is valid for the period stated on it.
- The scope of Works is only what is written in the accepted Agreement. Anything not listed is excluded.
- Material brands, grades and specifications listed in the quotation are what we will use. Owner-supplied items are marked as such.
4. Changes to the Works
If you ask for a change, or if site conditions require one, we will give you a written change order with any impact on cost and time. Changes are carried out only after your approval in writing (including email or WhatsApp).
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide safe access to the property during agreed working hours.
- Provide water and electricity for the Works, unless the Agreement says otherwise.
- Obtain any society, association or neighbour permissions needed; we will help with documentation.
- Obtain statutory approvals such as building sanction where required; we may assist with drawings.
- Remove or secure valuables and fragile items from work areas.
- Tell us about known issues such as concealed pipes, past leaks or structural concerns.
6. Our responsibilities
- Carry out the Works with reasonable skill and care, using the specified materials.
- Deploy trained staff and verified partners, and supervise their work.
- Protect floors, furniture and fittings in work areas and clean up daily.
- Follow applicable safety practices at site.
- Keep you updated on progress and any issues.
7. Timelines and delays
Timelines in the Agreement are our best estimate based on the agreed scope. We are not responsible for delays caused by changes you request, late approvals or payments, lack of site access, unavailability of owner-supplied items, weather (including monsoon), material shortages, government action or other events beyond our reasonable control. We will tell you promptly about any expected delay.
8. Partners and subcontractors
We may engage verified contractors, technicians and specialists to perform parts of the Works. We remain responsible to you for the Works under the Agreement, including the warranty.
9. Completion and handover
On completion we will walk through the Works with you and record any snag items. Snags are rectified within a reasonable time. The handover date is recorded on your warranty certificate. Using the completed area is treated as acceptance, subject to recorded snags and the warranty.
10. Ownership of materials and debris
Ownership of materials supplied by us passes to you on full payment for them. Debris generated by the Works will be removed as set out in the Agreement and disposed of responsibly. Salvaged items belong to you unless agreed otherwise.
11. Payment
Payments are governed by our Payment Terms and the schedule in your Agreement.
12. Warranty
All Works we execute carry a 10-year warranty against workmanship and installation defects, as set out in our Warranty Policy and your warranty certificate.
13. Cancellation
Cancellation of Works is governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
14. Liability
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Works is limited to repairing or re-performing the affected Works or, where that is not possible, refunding the amount paid for that part of the Works. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
15. Disputes
Please raise any concern first with our Grievance Officer. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, without affecting your right to approach a Consumer Commission. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
